Just ahead of Xbox and Bethesda's E3 2021 showcase, Battlefield 2042 gameplay footage has been released on Twitter — here's a sneak peek.

Ready to Jump?  Battlefield 2042 is set to launch on October 22, and will cost $59.99 for Windows and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  Meanwhile, owners of higher-end consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will have to shell out more for the game, at $69.99.  (Dice/Electronic Arts)

For all those gaming lovers who are eagerly waiting for the E3 2021 showcase to kick off, here's a heads-up!  You can start the festivities ahead of the actual announced E3 2021 date and time!  Yes, there are only a few hours left to go to the E3 2021 showcase, but you can catch a glimpse of Battlefield 2042 gameplay via a short video released on Twitter.  Earlier this week Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE announced the highly anticipated Battlefield 2042.  The first-person shooter will launch on October 22 for PC and consoles.  The first gameplay footage from Battlefield 2042 is set to be revealed during the Xbox One conference.  And Bethesda's showing will take place tonight at 10:30 p.m. E3 2021 as scheduled

The theme of Battlefield 2042 is a dystopian future, where sea levels are rising with the world on the brink of environmental collapse and economic crisis.  Soldiers must fight to save the planet from its imminent destruction.  Battlefield 2042 will feature drones, wingsuits, quadruple robotic wingsuits for players to use.  It will also include advanced warplanes and tanks.  In Battlefield 2042 players must fight for technological advancement, and collect resources and territories in India, South Korea, Singapore, Qatar and Antarctica.

Battlefield 2042 players will also face extreme natural phenomena such as tornadoes, sand storms, as well as other disasters that will be unpredictable in the game.  These events can also be used to the player's advantage against their opponents.
